Our lives

We have had a little more rain than we are used to...

Camden worked on his Eagle Project.

Maxx taking a little snooze. He is a creature of comfort.

Oops! Mom forgot to buy candles for Camden's 18th birthday cake.....So he just blew out a match. Does that count?

Andrew trying out the coconut we brought back from south Florida. (It didn't taste very good but he spent a lot of time getting it ready)

Alex wishing the twins happy 16th. With Vans socks and a rhyming dictionary so they can write songs. Oh, and of course ray bans to be cool in....

July 4th

We had an early morning run in Winter Park. They all beat mom...... And later that day Harrison had to filet and cook a fish for his fishing merit badge. The fish was small but tasty!! On a side note for those interested.....Oliver has moved to a new home. Michelle's friend Allison took him. His name has been changed to Meeko. We babysat him this weekend. He hops on and climbs on everything. He can get places we didn't think a kitten could get to. We are glad he lives with Allison.

Phillip and Jen's Wedding

I spent a week in June in Cabo San Lucas with my mom for my brother, Phillip's wedding. We had a great view from our condo. Met a really neat artist. I went deep sea fishing with my brothers and dad and had silly time at night. And of course the wedding on the beach. It was a great week!!!!

First time tagged

Ok my sister Amber tagged me and I didn't even know it......she thinks I'm a dork. I know she doesn't really think that but what she doesn't know is that I really am a dork :)

Ok on with the tagging

Four places I go to over and over: Church, Sam's Club, Walmart and Ross
Four people who email me regularly: Amber, Dad, BMG music(UGH!!) and Deseret Book all others are occasionally.
Four places I like to eat: Chili's, Garabalddi's(local authentic Mexican), McDonald's for the ice cream cones and Crispers (their salads are to die for)
Four places I would like to be right now: In my own clean house that I didn't clean, the beach, visiting my sister (somehow we need to get together since we both want to) and hiking in the mtns of TN.
Four TV Shows I watch all the time: Other people watch tv at my house so what I see all the time as I am wandering around doing what, I am not sure, I get to see parts of...... What not to wear, 10 years younger, how it's made and sponge bob. Of course that is not all but I couldn't bore you with the list.
Four people I think will respond: I don't have four blogging friends so maybe Melissa Birkeland if she comes around to my site again! She must be busy lately b/c it has been awhile since her blog was updated.

LDS PROM

This past Saturday was LDS PROM. It is for the Priest and Laurel age youth. I was able to help out some with putting it together. Really I just made sure the roses were there to hand out to each young woman and I helped out with photos. Not that I took any....I just told the kids where to stand. Anyway.....Here are a few pics of Camden, some girls he met there and of course me and the handsomest guy at Prom. (Jeff wasn't there:))

I know I'm not the only one!

Am I the only mom found at Walmart Superstore during the week doing my weekly grocery store shopping to find that the check out lady is telling me how to unload my cart so she can bag it efficiently. She wanted my canned goods first so they could be reloaded into my cart first. HMMM....how does that work when I get up to the check out stand and the canned goods are on the bottom of my cart? Am I to dig to the bottom of the cart to pull out the heavy items? I just smiled at her......
Now I MAY be one of the only moms that stops at walmart first, loads all the cold items into my cooler in the car, stops to buy 12 dead frozen baby mice at the pet bazaar, puts them in the cooler then travels on to SAMs to finish my shopping. (The mice are for Andrew's corn snake, he has to eat too!)

Hamilton got to play a lot in his lacrosse game this past Thursday. I love watching! They won 12 to 1. Go WILDCATS!!!
Harrison went to the temple for the first time on Thursday also. Cool week!

Camden took the SAT this morning.....EASY he says....I don't know about that.

Andrew, guitar, guitar....he is doing great!

Night of Dancing/Morning of Fishing

Jeff has been busy being the ultimate DAD! I often tell him he is Mary Poppins "practically perfect in every way". Last night was the Father Daughter Dance at the elementary school. And in the morning was the rest of the Father Son Campout and fishing merit badge work with Harrison.

Dodging the flu......

I seem to have dodged the flu bug the flew fast and furiously through my house this past week.......Ok maybe it wasn't that fast for those who had it. High fevers, hacking coughs yuk!!! I did end up with a cough but no fever and I feel great! The counter in the kitchen looks like a pharmacy. I played musical beds to avoid sleeping in the same room with those who had the bug. I have spent quite a few nights with the dog on the couch. He is warm and doesn't snore. Kind of nice. Oh yeah and I washed my hands and washed my hands and washed my hands. All the kids are back in school now but still coughing. Camden stayed the week at a friends to avoid getting it. So far so good. He is ready for his own bed now. Michelle is not here enough to get it, although when she is here the twins want to get close to her to see if she will get it. Annoying!

Beginning

I wanted a blog like everyone else. So here we go. A work in progress. A lot like my life and a lot like the lives of all the people I live with. Madison and Michelle are helping me out. Michelle with the technical and Madison with comments from peanut gallery.
